The CHIP initiative is a supportive, culturally empowering and flexible program for off-reserve Mi'kmaq/Aboriginal parents and their children aged 0 to 6 supporting a child's "Brighter Future".  Facilitators are also located in Sydney and Truro.  Visit website or contact for more information.  An initiative of the Native Council of Nova Scotia. 

Community-based family resource centre offering programs and services to families and caregivers of children 0-6 years.  Programs offered include Babies on the Move, School Readiness Program, prenatal support, and much more.  A resource library is also available.  Contact for more information.
