The Town of Shelburne Parks and Recreation Department has re-launched the popular 10,000 Step Challenge Program.   This program challenges participants to be more active and to keep track of their daily steps.  Step Counters (pedometers) can be borrowed from the Department or purchased at a low cost.  Visit the website, or contact the Department, to find information and tools to support you in your formal (or informal) walking program.  Sample walking plans, log sheets and additional information are available free of charge.

The Annapolis County Workplace Physical Activity Challenge program is targeted at workplaces across the Annapolis County region, encouraging employees to get active while at work!  The program is a 6-week incentive program; contact for information on receiving an introduction package for your workplace.  A great program for workplace wellness!

Weekly group walk events held every Tuesday at 10am.  Distance is 10k (kilometers), meeting place is the lobby of the Cambridge Suites on the Esplanade, Sydney.  Snow shoeing and cross country skiing every Wednesday morning at 10am at Ski Ben Eoin. $5.65 for day pass to use the cross country trail.
